The County Press and the Isle of Wight Council have joined forces to launch a campaign to get rid of the litter that is blighting the Wight.

You have responded by sending us pictures of the good, the bad and the ugly - from impromptu litter picks, to tales of fly tipping.

Now we're giving you a chance to be a winner! Scroll down for details...

One of the ways the Isle of Wight Council is trying to reduce landfill is through its green waste scheme.

For £72 a year, Islanders can get a big bin of grass cuttings, hedge trimmings and other garden waste taken away every fortnight - saving on carbon-emitting trips to the tip and helping the local authority turn it all into compost.

Will you be a County Press winner?

As part of the campaign, we are offering you the chance to win a subscription to the scheme!

Lasting until March 2022, it's a prize money can't buy - as the scheme is currently fully subscribed!

What should you do?

Well, we want you to send us pictures of Beauty and the Beast... eyesore litter in our lovely Island countryside.

Of course, we hope you will safely dispose of in the correct way, after you have found it and photographed it.
