A NEW case of coronavirus has been recorded on the Isle of Wight, according to Public Health England.

This brings the total number of cases on the Isle of Wight to 430.

A 429th case was registered on Friday, August 21, and figures now show a second has been added for the same day.

Positive cases on the Island have been increasing recently, with figures from Public Health England confirming seven more cases since the start of August compared to the three positive tests in the entire month of July.
