Brading artist Lucy Bell has not let a little thing like coronavirus put her off having her art exhibition.

She may not be able to have people in a a gallery but instead she is showcasing her multimedia pieces via her Facebook page Lucy Bell Art.

From 8pm on Friday, people will be able to see her ceramic work and drift wood art as well as canvases.

Lucy told the County Press: "I have found art to be very therapeutic my whole life but especially the last few months, and as an all year round sea swimmer I am always by the sea, which is a big influence in my work.

"The sea keeps me in a good head space, what with having school aged children at home and losing a lot of work from my other business Sassy Isle of Wight CIC due to Covid.

"I love to inspire others to pick up a pencil or paints and have a go at creating.

"I lead a few zoom art sessions with friends in lockdown as I believe art is for everyone."

Anyone viewing the art between Friday and Sunday will be able to buy pieces by messaging Lucy on Facebook.

Lucy also works from the Seabell Artisan Facebook page.
