Two more cases of coronavirus were recorded on the Isle of Wight on Tuesday, according to the latest updated government figures.

The total number of confirmed Covid-19 cases on the Island, since the start of the pandemic, now stands at 428.

The data records the number of people with at least one lab-confirmed positive Covid-19 test result, by specimen date.

People who test positive more than once are only counted once, on the date of their first positive test.

Earlier this week, the County Press reported that in all, 86 people have now died from coronavirus on the Island.

Government advice is to wash your hands for at least 20 seconds and wear a face covering where required.

If you develop a dry, persistent cough, high temperature, or notice changes to your sense of smell, you should isolate for ten days and seek a test.
