TWO new cases of coronavirus have been recorded on the Isle of Wight.

It brings the total number of confirmed cases here, since the pandemic started, to 425.

The latest cases were recorded on Saturday August 8, but have only just been added to the Government's chart.

It follows two cases confirmed during the previous weeks on July 27 and 31 — which had been the first in almost a month according to official figures.
