POLICE are appealing to the public to help locate missing man, Elezaj Shkelzen, who was last seen riding a jet ski.

The 33-year-old from Oxfordshire was declared missing after his jet-ski was found in the water off of Stokes Bay on Tuesday.

He was last seen leaving Lymington for Langstone Harbour at 6pm.

A spokesperson for Isle of Wight Police said: "His friends and family are understandably concerned for his welfare.

"We and our colleagues in the Coastguard have been making enquiries over the last few days but are now turning to you for your help.

"We appreciate the image isn't very clear, but we are hoping you will be able to help.

"Elezaj is described as wearing a light grey and white hoody, dark Adidas shorts, and a camouflage waterproof jacket.

"He may have had an orange life-jacket with him.

"We are particularly keen to hear from anyone who saw a jet-ski being ridden in the Solent between Milford-On-Sea and Stokes Bay.

"If you see him, or think you may have seen him since 6pm on Tuesday, please call us on 101, quoting 44200293979."
