STAGECOACH Cumbria and North Lancashire has issued a reminder to passengers regarding the new Number 10 guidelines for travel using public transport.
Face coverings are now compulsory inside buses and passengers can only sit next to people from their household or their 'bubble'.
Stagecoach said: "Updates to face covering usage means that it's now compulsory to wear one when using indoor public transport hubs in England, unless considered exempt by government.
"In line with changes to social distancing guidelines we're changing the seating process on board our buses.
"You can now sit: one person per double seat, leaving the seat behind empty and next to someone empty; with somebody only if they're in your household or bubble."
