Coastguard crews from right across The Solent region are involved in a search for a jet-skier feared missing, after one was found adrift.

A Yamaha Waverunner - with a sticker that reads ‘201 Langstone Harbour’ - has been discovered.

It led to an overnight appeal by HM Coastguard, calling for the owner, or anyone with information, to come forward.

The white and burgundy jetski was discovered in the Eastern Solent, said coastguards last night.

If you know the owner, call the Coastguard 023 92 552100.

The coastguard rescue helicopter has also been involved in the search.

Both Yarmouth and Bembridge RNLI crews are in the area this morning (Wednesday), according to AIS Marine Traffic.
