Bembridge Harbour's annual family fun weekend may have been made to walk the plank by Covid but there were still pirates, sandcastles and bucket relays to be had.

The harbour team put on a safe socially-distanced event instead with Saturday morning kite building, decorating boats and pirate antics.

During the afternoon there were sandcastles and sculptures built and the bucket relay.

Sunday saw kite flying on St Helens Duver.

Fiona Thorpe, of Bembridge Harbour, said: "Everyone had smiles on their faces."
