Isle of Wight Police are warning dog owners not to leave pets in cars in the sunshine.
Officers have been called to Blackgang Chine today (Saturday).
Describing it as a regular summer call, they are reminding owners how quickly cars can heat up - putting dogs in danger.
Cars get much hotter much more quickly, when compared to be outside.
In a Facebook post police said these pets were fine - but urged owners to think twice.
