A new case of coronavirus has been recorded on the Isle of Wight this week, bringing the total number of confirmed cases here, since the pandemic started, to 422.
UPDATE: A second case has been recorded this week.

The latest was recorded on Monday July 27, but has only just been added to the government's chart.
It is the first new case in weeks, according to the official figures.
On Tuesday, the Isle of Wight County Press reported a new death - in a care home on the Island.
It brings the total number of people who have died from the virus to 83, across care homes, the hospital, the community and the hospice.

The government has this week confirmed that anyone with symptoms of Covid-19 should isolate for ten days, rather than seven, to minimise the risk of infecting others.

Meanwhile, Health Secretary Matt Hancock has warned that other countries may be added to new restrictions that currently require those returning from Spain to quarantine for 14 days.
