A STELLAR cast will film a five-part revenge thriller on the Isle of Wight for BritBox — using local support actors and dozens of Island locations.

The Beast Must Die is an adaption of the 1938 novel of the same name by Nicholas Blake, the nom de plume of poet Cecil Day-Lewis, father of actor Daniel Day-Lewis.

It tells the story of a grieving mother who infiltrates the life of the man she believes killed her son.

The shoot will take place on the Isle of Wight across September and October.

The cast is currently being assembled but includes Golden Globe and Emmy-nominated actor Jared Harris, of Chernobyl and The Crown fame, Cush Jumbo, of Vera and The Good Wife, Billy Howle, of MotherFatherSon, and Nathaniel Parker, best known for the Inspector Lynley Mysteries.

Local support actors are needed and online castings will be undertaken within days.

Anyone interested should email their information and photos, including recent head and shoulder and full length photos, your name, age, date of birth, height and body size.

Include your contact details, plus parent or guardian contact details for those under 18 years old.

Open to all ages including family groups.

Supporting actors will be paid a basic fee, and extra if they have a speaking role.

Send the information to info@islandpeople.co.uk or see the Facebook page Island People Agency for more details.
