South Western Railway has launched a new campaign to celebrate businesses on the Isle of Wight, with Islanders encouraged to nominate their favourite local company.

The firm, which owns Island Line, will be honouring the winning businesses with one of three tailored business packages, with £12,000 worth of equipment and marketing.

Customers will also be entered into a prize draw to win £1,000 in cash.

South Western Railway’s commercial director, Peter Williams, said: “Local businesses are the lifeblood of the regional economy, now more than ever it's important we support them.

"This campaign will allow our customers to celebrate the local businesses that are at the heart of their communities.”

Islanders can nominate their favourite Isle of Wight business by going to
