DO YOU own a statement property, a quirky house or a desolate beach hut? Unusual homes, open plan offices and manor houses are all sought for a new five-part TV drama being filmed on the Island.

Isle of Wight Locations, a sister company of Island People Agency, is adding to its growing portfolio of places to offer to film and television crews who want to use the Isle of Wight as a backdrop.

Film coordinator Dadina Sagger-Hayward said: "I am very excited to be working with the Isle of Wight Council, Visit Isle of Wight, Creative England, BFI, Isle of Wight ferry companies, Solent.co and local businesses, to create an umbrella as a one-stop-place to promote the Island to the industry.

"We have all they need on one amazing island, including locations, local crew, local actors, accommodation, props, vehicles and so on.

"We have a five-part Britbox police drama soon to be filming on the Isle of Wight.

"If we can find what they are looking for it makes a huge difference, from them staying four weeks or 14 weeks, which also helps the Island in revenue.

"We are collecting a catalogue of locations for productions, to show them the Island has so many different styles of properties.

"We need Islanders to register their properties old or new, classic or modern, remote or central."

At the moment, the need is for remote beach huts, quirky and interesting buildings, iconic Isle of Wight buildings, statement properties, manor houses and open-plan offices.
