Southern Water has engineers in Ryde attending to a suspected burst water main
A WATER main is suspected to have burst in Ryde this afternoon (Thursday).
A crew from Southern Water is currently on site in George Street while engineers carry out repairs.
The news comes after residents in the area had reported having problems with water, with some stating a brown liquid was coming out of their taps.
A spokesperson for Southern Water said they expect the issue to be resolved imminently.
