POLICE were called to Shanklin this morning (Tuesday) following reports of a public order incident in the town.
A spokesperson for the Hampshire Constabulary said: "We were called at 9.36am to reports of a public order incident in Landguard Manor Road in Shanklin."
No arrests were made following the arrival of police at the scene, with the road closed for a short time.
As a result of the incident, Southern Vectis route 2 buses were unable to serve Green Lane for a time, but have since returned to the normal route.
