The Gills Cliff Road/Whitwell Road junction
Motorists are being warned to take care after what looks like an oil spill on the junction of Whitwell Road and Gills Cliff Road in Ventnor.
The road shows signs of an oily substance on the carriageway.
There is oil at both ends of Gills Cliff Road, plus along Whitwell Road.
The roads remain open.
Island Roads is aware of the issue.
