Council-run libraries are due to reopen on the Isle of Wight from next week, which means books borrowed over lockdown can be returned.

They will be quarantined before being lent out again, says the local authority.

From Monday June 6, libraries in Newport, Ryde, Sandown, Ventnor, Freshwater and Cowes will all accept returns.

However, you do not have to rush. Everything loaned out over the coronavirus crisis has been renewed until August 1.
