FIREFIGHTERS were called to extinguish a bonfire in the woods at Fort Victoria today (Sunday).
Two fire engines from Freshwater were called to the scene.
The fire was extinguished and fire safety advise was issued to those involved.
A spokesperson for Freshwater Fire Station said: "The advice is very simple — don’t start fires in the open."
