A MAN was arrested in Newport yesterday (Friday) on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.
Police executed a warrant just after 9am, at an address on Mill Street, Newport, in relation to an ongoing investigation into the supply of Class A drugs.
A spokesperson for Isle of Wight Police said: "A 43-year-old man from Newport was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.
"He has been released from custody but remains under investigation.
"A small amount of a controlled substance believed to be heroin, and drugs paraphernalia were also seized from the address."
