AN ETHICAL skincare company has delivered a range of products to care workers and medical staff on the Isle of Wight.

Annabel Rhodes, co-founder and director of Rhodes Skincare, donated a large basket of Madonna lily and frankincense hand and nail cream to St Mary’s Hospital, for distribution to staff.

This followed similar donations to nurses and carers at the Elms Care home in Bembridge.

When the Covid-19 pandemic struck, Annabel alongside sister and business partner Penny, realised nurses and carers’ hands would be dehydrated by constant washing, so they resolved to make things a little more comfortable for them.

Rhodes Skincare products use natural plant cell technology which is kind to both the skin and environment.

Annabel said: “My hand and nail creams are very different from other brands of skincare. You only need a small amount, and it sinks into the skin without leaving a sticky residue."

Vanessa Flower, head of quality governance at St Mary's Hospital, was delighted to receive the hand creams on behalf of staff there.

Rhodes Skincare is available from Anu Natural Beauty in Lane End Road, Bembridge, or online at rhodesskincare.com
