THE next phase of roadworks start today (Monday 8 June) on St Mary's Roundabout, Newport.
A one-way (eastbound) system will be in place on Forest Road, until late August.
The southbound exit from St Mary’s roundabout; the bus link to Hunnyhill; and the connection between Forest Road and Parkhurst Road will all be affected.
Westbound, there will be a diversion via Medina Way/St Georges Approach/Trafalgar Road/Carisbrooke Road/Gunville Road.

There will be temporary parking restrictions in Carisbrooke Road.
County Hall says it has changed its plans due to the impact of the coronavirus lockdown.

Final surfacing cannot be scheduled until completion of Southern Water diversion works, which have been delayed by the limited availability of specialist equipment during the coronavirus lockdown, say the council.
