POLICE have yet to identify a man spotted on CCTV on the Isle of Wight, as they continue to search for a missing 40-year-old.

The man is one of four who, police say, may have seen Matthew Doyle near Yarmouth Pier, at around 1.30am on Tuesday 26 May.

The other three people have now been identified, say officers.

Hampshire Constabulary says the unidentified man is being consiered as a 'key witness' and are urging Islanders to get in touch if they recognise him.

The last reported sighting of Matthew was on Monday 25 May, although he spoke to someone on the telephone later that evening.

He is thought to have visited Broadway Stores, Totland, at around 7.20pm.

A bag of his belongings were found at on Yarmouth Pier on 26 May.

Matthew is described as black, 5ft 6ins tall, with short black hair.
