A search and rescue incident is taking place.
RESCUE crews, including the Coastguard and Freshwater Independent Lifeboat have been called to an incident in the West Wight this evening.
Coastguard Rescue Teams alongside the Freshwater Independent Lifeboat launched at 8.45pm this evening and are still on the scene.
Isle of Wight Search and Rescue are also involved in a land search nearby.
