LATE May bank holiday arrangements for Isle of Wight NHS services have been announced.

Pharmacy opening times can be found at www.nhs.uk/service-search — always call ahead before travelling.

GP surgeries will not be routinely open, but a team of local primary care staff can be reached via the NHS 111 service, which is able to arrange an appointment — virtually or face-to-face — with the right clinician, as appropriate.

For dental advice, call your usual practice if they are open or contact 111 while they are closed.

Emergency services and departments remain open, 24/7, if you have a serious or life-threatening concern.

People believing they have symptoms associated with Covid-19 should not attend a GP surgery, pharmacy or hospital, but visit the 111 online coronavirus service, or call 111 if unable to access help online.

The online service can be reached at www.111.nhs.uk, and supports people struggling with their mental health, as well as physical health.
