AN ISLE of Wight 'superstar' has written and performed a song for the NHS, as part of the Thursday tradition, Clap for our Carers.
Hovertravel's Lorry Middleton, who was crowned Tourism Superstar by Visit England this year, wanted to say thank you to the NHS for their dedication and professionalism.
He sees them every day — key workers travelling across the Solent and assisting the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service, transferring patients through Hovertravel’s Island Rescue.
Loretta Lale, head of commercial at Hovertravel, said: “Performing with his guitar at Hovertravel’s terminal and his team leader and duty manager in support, Lorry’s song encourages people to support the NHS and shows why he is such a superstar.”
