A SPEEDBOAT with three adults and two children onboard ran aground on Bembridge Ledge this morning.
Bembridge Coastal Rescue Team and an inshore lifeboat both arrived on the scene to assist.
A spokesperson for the Solent Coastguard said: "We received a call at 9.48am, with an inshore lifeboat and Bembridge CRT arriving at the location shortly afterwards."
Bembridge Coastguard Rescue said Bembridge RNLI took all persons onboard back to the Lifeboat Station to meet with Coastguard Rescue officers, where they received Safety and Navigational advice.
