EMERGENCY services are attending an incident at the site of the former Cygnet Hotel in Sandown this afternoon (Saturday).
The Isle of Wight Police and ambulance crews are currently on Carter Street in Sandown after they arrived some time around 3pm.
A spokesperson for the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service said: "We can confirm that we are in attendance on Carter Street with the police."
UPDATE 4.35: A spokesperson for the Police said: "We were called to a report of an assault in Carter Street, Sandown, at 2.39pm today.
"Officers attended. No injuries were reported. Enquiries are ongoing."
