THERE were no new cases of coronavirus confirmed on the Isle of Wight today (Monday), according to the latest government figures.

This means the total number of confirmed cases on the Island remains at 32, with four of those people subsequently dying.

The total number of UK cases, meanwhile, has risen to 51,608.

The total number of deaths nationally has climbed to 5,373.

Birmingham remains the part of the UK with the most diagnosed cases, with 1,287 people testing positive in the area.
