ISLANDERS are split when it comes to success in home schooling during the coronavirus pandemic, according to an Isle of Wight County Press poll.

Of nearly 100 people who voted on our Facebook page on Friday, 52 per cent said they were finding it a stuggle.

Isle of Wight County Press:

Children of non-keyworkers on the Isle of Wight, or those who have been able to stay at home, have been continuing their lessons online, or using specially-created packs of work sent out by the schools.

Of those who voted in the County Press's poll, 48 per cent said they were coping well.

Some Isle of Wight schools remain open today (Monday) - what should have been the first day of the Easter holidays.

They are continuing to provide key childcare for people on the frontline.

Are you coping with home schooling? Are you continuing 'lessons' over Easter? We would love to hear your thoughts!
