Southern Vectis says it plans more service reductions because of coronavirus, from April 1st.

It says key worker journeys will continue to be protected, however changes are planned for a number of routes.

Included, is a plan to run a larger bus on route 1, between Newport and the Cowes Red Jet terminal, which means the last stop will be at Marks and Spencer, Carvel Lane, Cowes.

The bus operator said: "We would once again like to thank all of our customers for their continued support throughout these difficult times. And also remind people that where possible they should use contactless payments, app or the Key.

"Our colleagues are all doing a tremendous job during this situation and we are really proud of how they are keeping the wheels turning."
