NEW figures from Public Health England have shown the number of active Coronavirus cases on the Isle of Wight has risen by one.

Figures published today (Monday) show eleven active cases of Coronavirus listed for the Island.

The UK total, meanwhile, has risen to 22,141, with the number of people who have died now standing at 1,408, a rise of 180 since Saturday.

Those who died were aged between 32 and 98 years old, with almost all having had underlying health conditions — the four people who did not were aged between 56 and 87 years old.
