Last week’s print edition front page said the County Press, along with other regional titles across the country, would be ThereWithYou, throughout the coronavirus crisis.

This week we are backing up those words with deeds.

If you can find a way to buy the County Press, which is available from newsagents, supermarkets and other outlets as normal, then you will find all the latest Island news... and not just about coronavirus.

You will find five pages of news relating to Covid-19 and at countypress.co.uk there is a daily blog giving vital informationas the Island tackles this massive crisis.

We are also running a four-page #ThereWithYou supplement inside today's edition, which encourages us to support local businesses still trying to continue with life as best they can.

And on page 26, we have donated space to local groups so they can advertise the messages they need to get over and West Wight Sports and Community Centre’s hub and Mountbatten have taken up that offer this week.

The County Press is with its readers and advertisers at this time and our team are following government advice and working from home.

For the first time in 136 years, the County Press has been produced from reporters’ editors’ and advertising team members’ living rooms, kitchens and spare bedrooms across the Island.
