ISLE of Wight musician Emellia has released her latest music video, filmed at East Dene in Bonchurch, to accompany the song Run.

Launching the single late last year, the singer/songwriter made subsequent plans to release an accompanying video, feeling that the publicity and multimedia attached to the track didn't do it justice.

She said: "Run is a single that is very close to my heart. I wrote the song with producer Em Johnson in the studio, and after just two weeks of writing, the song was complete.

"Run is the unknown decision of whether or not to stay with this person you cherish, or leave to become the best version of yourself."

The new music video expands upon the concept of unrequited love, with Emellia left at the altar of a wedding as part of the narrative.

Filmed against the stunning East Dene backdrop, it was directed and produced by Alex Warren of AlexsLens Video Productions, with the pair assisted by Honey Bees and Roses Events team, who furnished the scenes.

Referring to the finished product, Emellia said: "I could not be happier with the outcome of this music video because of the help and support from the East Dene team throughout the process. East Dene is such a beautiful location."

People can listen to the single — which was premiered on popular Dutch music blog Le Future Wave — across all music platforms.
