The Isle of Wight Met Service has suggested that the Isle of Wight could see some snow next week as temperatures drop.

The service said Islanders should expect rain, sleet and hail with a small chance of snow.

A spokesperson for the service said: "Once again we are seeing some wintriness in the charts.

"It certainly looks like it will turn briefly colder for Tuesday and Wednesday, and this means that any showers that come through could have a mix of rain, hail and sleet with perhaps even a few flakes of snow thrown in for good measure."
