FLOOD alerts are still in place across Sussex today in the aftermath of Storm Dennis.
The Environment Agency warned six areas of the county could be flooded as tides rise.
The sea could flood Climping seafront and render Climping Street and Ferry Road impassable .
Officials advised residents to install flood protection one hour before high tide.
Flooding around Pulborough and Amberley is still high enough to affect fields, gardens, and roads.
“Rain on Thursday may cause river levels in Pulborough and Amberley to rise again,” a spokesman said.
“Please keep flood protection products installed if you have them.”
Residents of Newbridge and Pallingham Quay near Horsham have also been warned flooding could be possible throughout the week because of heavy rain.
“Rain on Thursday may cause river levels to rise again, and potentially see flood risk return,” a spokesman said.
“Please remain prepared for the possibility of flooding to return later in the week.”
