FAN TC Con ­— the Island's very own comic convention, ­set to return this October ­— has announced a number of new additions to its roster in recent weeks.

Sherrie Hewson has become the latest addition ­— known for her roles on the ITV soap operas Coronation Street, Crossroads and Emmerdale.

She was a panellist on lunchtime chat show, Loose Women, and played Joyce Temple-Savage in the ITV sitcom, Benidorm.

Sherrie will join big names in Richard Oldfield ­— best known for his role in Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back ­— and British actor, Clive Mantle, who has played Little John in Robin of Sherwood and Great Jon Umber in Game of Thrones.

Sheila Reid, best known for playing Madge Harvey in the ITV sitcom Benidorm, is also among the acts, as is Gareth David-Lloyd and Kai Owen of Torchwood, and Andy Serkis' body double, Ross Sambridge.

The stars will be descending on Cowes Enterprise College on Saturday, October 31.
