FIREFIGHTERS were called to a saucepan fire in Freshwater this afternoon (Tuesday).
At 4.09pm, a single fire engine from Freshwater arrived at the scene, responding to reports a fire alarm had been triggered.
Upon arrival, firefighters removed a saucepan that had overheated and proceeded to ventilate the property.
One adult female was treated for smoke inhalation, and was left in the care of the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service.
Firefighters stood down at 4.33pm.
