A YELLOW weather warning has been issued by the Met Office for South East England tonight and tomorrow morning (Wednesday), which may affect cross-Solent travel.

Areas of fog are expected to form tonight, and persist into Wednesday morning.

These may become more widespread and dense on Wednesday morning, with visibility falling below 100m in places, and the fog will be slow to lift.

While not expected to reach the Isle of Wight itself, the adverse weather may affect cross-Solent travel.
