A DANGEROUS driver will spend Christmas behind bars after crashing into parked cars in Ventnor on Friday evening.
Jamie Mobley, 39, of no fixed abode, admitted criminal damage, aggravated vehicle taking, dangerous driving and driving without insurance, at the Isle of Wight Magistrates' Court on Monday.
He was remanded in custody for sentencing at the Isle of Wight Crown Court on January 10.
A huge amount of debris scattered across Newport Road, Upper Ventnor, when Mobley, in a Volkswagen Golf, collided with two parked cars just before midnight.
Mobley has a long criminal record.
