A NEW look has been given to a Yarmouth pub.

The King's Head was closed for three weeks while it was given a refurbishment.

Director of Country Inns, Rob Benwell, said: "The work has been done in a sympathetic way to restore original features with a modern twist.

"There is completely new decor, furnishings and bric-a-brac.

"Nothing has changed structurally but just about everything else has.

"It will also bring the pub in line with others under the Country Inns banner — The Buddle Inn, Niton, Crown Inn, Shorwell, and Sun Inn, Hulverstone.

"The other main change is there will be table service and seasonal menus which will change quarterly.

"We're also delighted to have Mike Fuller and Kev Seal in our kitchen team to deliver pub classics and daily specials."
