POPULAR close-harmony vocal group Company B-UK are hosting their first event — Jingle Bell Jive.

The Isle of Wight group, comprising Thea Callaghan, Natalie Aghajanian and Harriet Back, are excited to bring their first Christmas party to Ventnor Winter Gardens.

They invite all their fans to boogie on down to the venue on December 21 for an evening of live music, mulled wine and festive cheer.

They will supply the Christmas entertainment, with their signature vintage twist, along with performances from London-based jazz musicians, pianist Callum Mazzella Hart and saxophonist Linus Fuge.

There will be tutorials with the IW Lindy Hoppers, and partygoers wearing a vintage-styled outfit could be in with a chance of winning a special prize.

Tickets are £7.50 in advance from www.ticketsource.co.uk/company-b-uk or £10 on the door. Last entry is 8.30pm.

Drawn together by a mutual love of singing in close-harmony, the trio have been working together since May 2015 when they formed a 1940s act for a musical production for Ventnor Theatre Group.

They do their own take on 1940s swing, hugely influenced by The Andrews Sisters.

The Christmas event has been an ambition of the group for a few years and due to their up-coming CD release, they felt it was the perfect time, and in the venue where it all began.
