A REVEREND, two beauty therapists and a former professional boxer will all fight it out in aid of charity in Shanklin next week.

Assassin Events will host its fourth white collar boxing match in aid of multiple charities including Mountbatten, the Wight Brainy Bunch and Macmillan Cancer Support.

On November 30 the event, Fight for Charity, hosted at Lower Hyde, Shanklin, will see 11 amateur boxers competing for their respective charities.

Organiser, Lisa Noble, said: "We have so many different volunteers who have given up their time to train and fight for us.

"Everyone who takes part is trained at Assassin Boxing Gym in Newport, by Jay Morris, a former professional boxer who once took on three world champions.

"One of our fighters, Adrian Redfearn, he's a reverend for Castlehold Baptist Church in Newport, he's fighting for the domestic abuse charity WightDash and he's already raised £2,300.

"We also have two beauty therapists who will be fighting each other, and a father, son and grandson team are competing.

"We're hoping to get about 500 people there on the night.

"So far all the ringside tickets have sold out so there is only standing tickets left."

Tickets for the event can be purchased on the door or pre-ordered from Assassin Event's website.
