AN ISLE of Wight company has created a new kiosk for Costa Coffee, to speed up payments and reduce customer waiting times.

WRS Systems, based in Newport, is one of the country's leading companies when it comes to electronic point of sale (EPOS) technology.

The first of the new kiosks was installed at Costa's cafe in Lewisham.

Emma Wilson, WRS Systems' business development manager, said: “Providing innovative, reliable and secure EPOS solutions for our clients is at

the heart of all that we do.

"Oxhoo is our principle hardware partner, and for good reason. Like us, they offer cutting edge innovation and a philosophy of collaboration at every stage of development — from design to service, delivery and support."

Following on from the first installation, WRS Systems designed a bespoke unit with Costa to be trialled at cafes in and around London.

WRS Systems first started working with Costa Coffee in 2011. It is now the coffee chain's sole EPOS provider, supporting more than 3,600 terminals across the country.
