ISLE of Wight based alternative rockers, Sub Pacific, are set to release their second single, Leech — a track issued by Island independent record label, Chalkpit Records.

The track, available from Friday, November 29, follows debut release, Can You, which homed in on the silent suffering of mental health issues, assisting in propelling the quartet on to the Isle of Wight Festival main stage earlier this year.

Lead singer, Aaron Taylor, said “Me and the boys are really stoked that our music is coming out.

"This is something we have been waiting a while to unleash upon the world.

"We have been working super hard over the summer, and have lots in store for everyone to see and hear.”

A tour subsequent to the debut single has been well received, with many dates selling out in accordance with the band’s blossoming standing as a live act.

Silas Gregory, founder of Chalkpit Records, said: “This is really positive for the Isle of Wight music scene, a new band pushing through with big ambition. The new single is really only the beginning for the band's musical careers.

"The guys are also passionate advocates of promoting mental health topics and offering support to fans online who need someone to talk to.”

The band — who have enjoyed a prolific year supporting acts such as Bang Bang Romeo and Gender Roles — will headline a show at Notting Hill Arts Club on Saturday, December 14.
