BRIGHTBULB Design has launched a Mince Pie Marathon for their charity of the year, the Wight Brainy Bunch.

The event — which takes place on Wednesday, December 18 — is the brainchild of Matt Jeffery, Brightbulb chief executive, and is aimed at delivering mince pies to businesses across the Island. The festive treats will be distributed by members of the Brightbulb team over the course of a single day.

Matt said: “We want as many stops as possible to be marked out on our marathon map, with mince pies ordered by businesses all over the Island, and as much money raised as possible for this fantastic charity.

“Come on everyone, let’s see how hard you can make this for us. Who will take the top spot on the Mince Pie Marathon leader board?”

The Wight Brainy Bunch was set up by Mark Grimes and his wife Kathryn, following Mark’s diagnosis of a brain tumour in February 2015.

Businesses keen to have mince pies delivered to them on December 18 can do so by logging into mincepiemarathon.co.uk/ and by sharing the hashtag #MincePieMarathon on social media.
