FREEMASONS from Osborne Lodge, East Cowes, have made a £300 donation to the IW Myaware group.
Myaware supports people with myasthenia — a collection of four rare autoimmune conditions which cause muscle weakness.
The Island group meets every three to four months and is a chance for people living with the condition, their families and carers to get together and discuss how the condition affects them.
Worshipful master, Alan Gosden, and charity steward, Michael Lloyd, of the Osborne Lodge attended the latest meeting of the group at the Bargeman's Rest, Newport, to make the presentation.
Regional fundraiser, David Upcraft, said: "Support from groups such as this one from the Osborne Lodge is fantastic and is the cornerstone of keeping our regional groups going strong."
