FIRE crews have been called to a fire at Carisbrooke college this evening (Friday).
Crews from the Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service were called to Taylor Road at 7.58pm.
A spokesperson for the fire service said: "We were called to a one storey fire inside one of the derelict buildings on the site.
"We've used two sets of breathing equipment and a hose reel jet, we have also sent two appliances from Newport and another from Ryde.
"Crews are still on the scene."
