A CONCERT is taking place to raise funds for Wight Brainy Bunch.

The evening is being led by Cantobelle, a female trio, with guest artists including Newchurch Male Voice Choir.

Cantobelle is a female vocal trio comprised of Cate Clark, Suzy Yates and Lucy Hinkley, who have been together since 2011, with the singers providing entertainment at concerts, weddings and various other events.

Guest artists involved on the night are Newchurch Male Voice Choir, Thea Callaghan, a soprano in her second year of study at London’s Trinity Laban Conservatoire, and Kim Ball as guest accompaniment.

Newchurch Male Voice Choir, which formed in 1967, will present a range of popular songs, and traditional male voice choir anthems.

The concert takes place at the True Vine Church in Newport on Saturday, October 19.

Proceeds will go to Wight Brainy Bunch to enable them to continue assisting people of all ages on the Island who suffer a brain tumour.

They place emphasis on there being life to celebrate after such an illness.

Doors for the concert will open at 7pm, with the show beginning at 7.30pm.

Tickets are available on the door for £5, with refreshments available and a giant raffle taking place.
