POLICE were called to St Mary's Hospital in Newport this morning (Thursday) after a patient became aggressive with staff.
Isle of Wight Police were called to the hospital at around 11.30am to assist security staff with a male patient who had started behaving aggressively.
A spokesperson for the police said: "We attended St Mary’s hospital shortly before 11.30am to assist hospital security dealing with a male who was acting aggressively.
"No arrests were made."
